Nocturnes (2017)

For the purpose of being awake longer, humans have adapted their surroundings in order to give themselves a better vision at night. In this series, I’m exploring the various lights that are installed throughout the city and how they affect the landscape. Some things that are normally background elements in the daytime seem to be given a primary role at night, as if they were on a stage, under the spotlight.

Afin de rester éveillé plus longtemps, l'humain a adapté son environnement pour se donner une meilleur vision nocturne. Dans cette série, j'explore ces diverses lumières artificielles qui sont installées un peu partout dans la ville et comment elles affectent le paysage. Des choses qui passent normalement inaperçu deviennent parfois l'attrait principal, comme s'ils avaient maintenant le premier rôle, sous les projecteurs.
